Together with One Tree Planted and our supermarket partners, we have planted more than 318,400 trees!

That's why we are so proud to share our partnership with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization that reflects Colour Republic’s values of social and environmental responsibility as well as its commitment to helping the community. They are on a mission to reforest our planet and provide education, awareness and engagement on the importance of trees to our environment.

Why do we help plant trees?

AIR: Trees help to clean the air we breathe. Through their leaves and bark, they absorb harmful pollutants and release clean oxygen for us to breathe.

WATER: Trees play a key role in capturing rainwater and reducing the risk of natural disasters like floods and landslides.

BIODIVERSITY: A single tree can be home to hundreds of species of insect, fungi, moss, mammals and plants. Without trees, forest creatures would have nowhere to call home.

SOCIAL IMPACT: From arborists to loggers and researchers, job opportunities provided by forestry are endless. And sustainable tree farming provides timber to build homes and shelters, and wood to burn for cooking and heating.

HEALTH: Did you know that hospital patients with rooms overlooking trees recover faster than those without the same view? Trees help reduce stress and anxiety, and allow us to reconnect with nature.
