Here's to the Women Who Make Colour Republic Bloom!

The women of Colour Republic cultivate and nurture the beautiful flowers that bring so much joy to others — while sharing that same joy and passion to inspire us every day.

From the skilled farmers and production team who handle every bloom with care, to the researchers and designers who create stunning floral arrangements, to the dedicated administrative, finance, IT, supply, sales, ecommerce, marketing and customer service teams who make sure every flower, every experience and every connection is exceptional — these talented women represent 50% of our staff, and make our flower family flourish.

Women's History Month is a month-long celebration observed in March to honor women’s accomplishments, the significant roles they play to their families, communities and society, and the ways they inspire others today and throughout history.Colour Republic team at flower show

A key highlight of Women's History Month is the celebration of women who've helped build a fairer, more just society — reflected in this year's theme: "Inspire Inclusion.” This offers the perfect opportunity to honor the remarkable, passionate women in the Colour Republic family.

These women empower us, mentor and uplift others, help break down barriers for gender equality, and make us stronger! Their vision and achievements help strengthen our culture and open the doors of opportunity wider for all of us.

International Women’s Day

Celebrated during this month for more than a century, the roots of International Women's Day can be traced back to the early 20th century, amid the growing movements for women's suffrage and labor rights. Now celebrated on March 8, its first observance was in 1909 in New York City, where women rallied for better working conditions and the right to vote.

In many countries, it is customary to give women a gift of flowers on International Women's Day. The colors purple, green and white are the official colors of International Women's Day:

Purple has historically been used as a symbolic color for women's rights, justice and dignity. Green stands for hope, new beginnings and growth. White represents equality.

This global holiday continues to recognize women’s incredible milestones, raises awareness and encourage others to advocate for gender equality. At Colour Republic, we are committed to a diverse team where our differences are valued, celebrated and unite us — collectively we can forge a more inclusive world for women.
